Young harpists Camille and Kennerly Kitt, known as the HARP TWINS, have achieved extraordinary success by taking Electric Harps, Acoustic and Electro-Acoustic Concert Grand Harps to unprecedented levels and smashing boundaries between different genres of music. Camille and Kennerly have toured extensively as a harp duo, performing throughout North America, South America, and the United Kingdom. The Harp Twins have headlined countless concert series, festivals, fairs and conventions – with audiences that include former U.S. Presidents and Vice Presidents, tech titans, fashion moguls, dignitaries, and world leaders. Camille and Kennerly have represented the United States at 3 world harp festivals. By mixing their virtuoso harp skills with their stunningly complex arrangements of rock, metal, and soundtrack hits, the duo has amassed over 1.6 million fans across their social media sites and over 95 million views on their YouTube music videos. Camille and Kennerly have truly made harps rock and are the most followed and recognizable harp duo in the world.
As the world’s only identical twin professional harpists, Camille and Kennerly were trained classically (with University degrees in Harp Performance), but have a passion and flair for arranging and performing rock, metal, and soundtrack music for Harp Duet. The Harp twins have also shown themselves to be formidable composers with their Nordic-inspired original songs – harkening to their Scandinavian heritage. Camille and Kennerly perform on statuesque Acoustic and Electro-Acoustic Concert Grand Harps as well as Electric Harps. Camille and Kennerly have created a unique niche for themselves: playing rock and metal music using only their two harps. With no backtracks, no studio, no production crew and no record label, the Harp Twins are the archetype of true trail-blazing independent artists.
In addition to their Nordic-inspired original songs, Camille and Kennerly are recognized for their remarkable duet harp arrangements of some of rock and metal’s most iconic hits by the likes of Guns N’ Roses, Metallica, Iron Maiden, Led Zeppelin, Ozzy Osbourne, Megadeth, Aerosmith, AC/DC, Black Sabbath, The Rolling Stones, Blue Oyster Cult, Scorpions, Eagles, Bon Jovi, Pink Floyd, U2, Journey, Evanescence, Billy Idol, Deep Purple, and many more. Showing the breadth of their arranging talents, the twins also arrange and perform TV and Movie Soundtrack, Anime, and Video Game hits. Some fan favorites include their renditions of music from Game of Thrones, The Walking Dead, Pirates of the Caribbean, The Elder Scrolls, Final Fantasy, Star Trek, Star Wars, Vikings, Doctor Who, Zelda, Mario, Silent Hill, Harry Potter, and The Lord of the Rings.
Camille and Kennerly have released 6 self-produced albums: Harp Attack, Harp Attack 2, Harp Attack 3, Harp Fantasy, Harp Fantasty 2, and Winter Lights.
Camille and Kennerly are already seasoned performers, having toured around the United States, Canada, England, Wales, Argentina, Paraguay and Colombia. The Harp Twins were invited to represent the US twice at the World Harp Festival (“Festival Mundial del Arpa”) in Paraguay, where they performed and taught master classes. As cultural ambassadors for the United States during their trips to South America, the twins have also spoken and performed at schools, cultural exchanges, and rural towns. Although their main focus is on their harp career, Camille and Kennerly are members of the Screen Actors Guild (SAG) and AFTRA and have acted in theater, film, and television; as well as dabbled in modeling for commercial campaigns and Seventeen Magazine. Most recently, Camille and Kennerly played the “Ouch That’s My Hair” Walker that fought and was killed by “Carol” in the Season 6 finale of The Walking Dead. The twins were personally asked by Greg Nicotero (Director and Executive Producer) to be part of this scene. The Kitt twins made their Hollywood film debut as the “Merry Christian Twins” in the feature film POLITICS OF LOVE as actors, soundtrack writers, and soundtrack performers (harp and vocal). Camille and Kennerly graduated “Summa Cum Laude” (with highest honors) from the prestigious Conservatory of music at Wheaton College, both with a Bachelor of Music degree in Harp Performance. Prior to transferring to the Conservatory, Camille and Kennerly completed their last two years of high school while simultaneously enrolled in a music studies program at a local college. While completing the music studies program at the college, the twins were in the Honors Scholar Program, inducted into the National Honor Society Phi Theta Kappa, published authors in the academic journal Essai, held a 4.0 out of 4.0 GPA, and were faculty nominated scholars for both years – representing their college at several colligate summits.
